My Promise (AndyXCharacter)

Every year, on the same day, Andy comes home. Not for himself but for his childhood friend, Scarlet. She's a busy woman, working two jobs day in and day out. Taking care of everyone and anyone, asking for nothing in return. What more could Andy want? It all started with a promise, "I'll try to visit you at least once a year, I promise." And roughly seven years later that promise was never broken, but to what extent? Will Andy jeopardize everything to keep Scarlet to himself, or will he let her go? There's only so much a man can conquer and there's only so much a woman can take. Waiting for Andy to admit how he feels drains her more and more until she just doesn't care anymore. But will that simple promise change things for the better? Well, we'll see.
