Sometimes, being a hero isn't all it's chalked up to be. Michael Adams learned that the hard way. Is it better to keep your head down and try to stay alive in the hell and fire of war? Just wait for someone else to step up and save you? Or is it better to stand up and fight harder than anyone else, lead your friends to victory and gain a lifetime of glory? Well Michael chose the latter, and it's had some undesirable side-effects. After fighting the tyrannical Syndicalists in his country's civil war, he's become rather famous... even to those not involved. People want him to fight, and he just wants to put it all down. But it seems he might not get a choice in the matter. War is Hell, and Micheal has to go through it all over again

Warning! If you haven't read the previous book Accidents Made Right Pistanthropophobia, I highly recommend either you read that book first, or read the recap chapter at the beginning of this book. "When we having nothing left, sometimes what we end up seeking the hardest is others' praise." 6 years after the horrific events that tore Rowan Griggs and Steve Berkan further apart and kickstarted a new world war, follow Matthew Freeman; a trainee of the U.S. government with powerful electricity powers and big dreams of fame and recognition. Watch as he attempts to prove himself while fighting alongside beings with god-like powers and abilities that overshadow him every single battle. Will he enter the light and finally prove himself? Or will he stay in the dark and become totally obsessed with his need to fit in? Bonus: also contains a bonus story featuring Rob Freeman as he tries to find a reason to keep living, despite humanity's attempts to destroy him and everything he stands for. Disclaimer: Contains blood/gore, language, dark themes, violence, a torture victim, attempted suicide, the destruction of a historical landmark, and soft nudity. Commentary and Criticism is welcome, as I intend to make this story as amazing as I possibly can.
