Sometimes, being a hero isn't all it's chalked up to be. Michael Adams learned that the hard way. Is it better to keep your head down and try to stay alive in the hell and fire of war? Just wait for someone else to step up and save you? Or is it better to stand up and fight harder than anyone else, lead your friends to victory and gain a lifetime of glory? Well Michael chose the latter, and it's had some undesirable side-effects. After fighting the tyrannical Syndicalists in his country's civil war, he's become rather famous... even to those not involved. People want him to fight, and he just wants to put it all down. But it seems he might not get a choice in the matter. War is Hell, and Micheal has to go through it all over again

My life turned upside down when I was 13 My father was murder right in front of my eyes by his own brother My mother betrayed me and my father When I was 13 I was thrown in a cell and haven't seen the light since 5 years later I was finally let out of my cell And was told I had to fight for my life ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After the war that destroyed mostly every thing in America, in order to survive three major cities were built to help restore what was lost. To get everything back to normal again. Around those cities are small villages were the poor lives. The people who are barely surviving. The major city is called Alancia and that is were Victoria lives. Her father use to be the Leader of Alancia along side with his wife and brother. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up. Even though she would be reminiscing old memories And meeting someone who can ruin it all Whatever the cost is she is willing to fight. He woke up in a hospital, doesn't know why he's there, doesn't know who he is, doesn't even know how he got there, and he's got a real bad headache. He's got a head wound the size of a baseball, he can't see with his right eye, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't get a straight answer for anything, except that mineshaft workers found him crystalized and immediately flew him to the 'hospital.' Nobody could figure out how long he was in the crystal, and the only thing he could remember was his name. I really hope you enjoy! Like my previous books, I haven't gotten a cover for it but I'm working on it:)
