Spin-off of "Upon Wings of Change" by CrystalScherer.
Bright remembered nothing before hatching out of a large green egg other than the fact that she had not been a dragon beforehand. She couldn't remember her own name, yet she knew this was not the way it was supposed to be. To make things worst just when she was starting to adjust aliens decide to take over to the world.
But Bright is different from the other dragonets. She doesn't have the same fear the others have and she is more willing to get close to the aliens, but at what cost?
Makes more sense if you have read Upon Wings Of Change by CrystalScherer but it's not required to understand the story.

After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest.
