Well, whoever made that saying pretty sure never went to highschool. life is not some teenage girl daydreams where all the geeks were hot underneath the nerdy glasses and freckles. Some of us just not born with those.

When two years ago I manage to stupidly fall for the school belle, everyone (including me) would never think or even dared to hope (on my side) that I would be sitting by her at lunch. Me, Reid Bauer the school geek. Don't picture me as some weirdo with glasses and pimples, and an outfit that's not even cool at the 80s, because I'm actually pretty ordinary. Minus the high prescription and passion for operating system.

Despite all, I manage to find place by Athena Marent's side and although I'm very grateful, I can't denied the feeling that's growing every single time i saw her smiling. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
