Asa Sinclair was a name well known throughout Cardoth, the kingdom of humans. He was known for his natural talent in the art of healing. He had the basic knowledge that any other physician would have, but he was also gifted in a more magical sense. He could mend flesh and bone back together, and though it took its toll on him, he never turned down someone in need. It was something that he was passionate about; traveling from place to place and giving freely the aid that people desperately needed. Yes, Asa Sinclair was a well known man. Princess Hana Dixon, the daughter of the King who ruled over Cardoth, knew the name too. She'd heard of him before in her day to day life, not really finding much interest in the healer. She hadn't a reason to care about him until her father fell gravely ill. It came as a surprise to everyone in the castle. One day he was as healthy as could be, and the next he was lying in bed unable to move. His fever had only gotten worse, and not even the castle's greatest physicians could find any cure. She suspected foul play, and so even as she was running out of options, the last thing she wanted to do was invite a stranger into her home. With nothing left to lose, she sent word out all across the kingdom of Cardoth. Every available guard set out spreading the word, searching for any sign of where to find him, and by dawn on the next day, they had found him. (Call it a fanfic if you will as it is inspired significantly by a book by Sarah J. Maas. It's nothing serious and I absolutely adore her work so it's not meant as anything harmful.) Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover.
