She moves to new Orleans for a new start on life with her 4 month old daughter Nina . She was never close to her siblings well she hates them except for Jeremy a little .

She goes to La Push, seeking a home to stay in, away from her perfect sister who got everything she's ever wanted. She finds herself staying with Embry Call, one of her best friends.
