Emily Mills knows she doesn't belong. Never has. Her father tells her crazy stories of a boy who can fly, magical islands and children who can't grow up. Then again he's always been a touched in the head ever since he went missing as a boy, with only children's stories to make up for memories. Emily finds it hard to listen anymore, especially when he has a drink or two. That's when it really hurts. As a last resort she wishes to ecape to Neverland with a mysterious shadow as her guide, hoping for an escape of her harsh reality, only to find a much darker one waiting for her in the form of a boy.
