Silence is such a weird concept; it's the absence of sound is all, and yet people have such different reactions to it, some would prefer silence over people, some go nearly insane when forced into silence, and some people have no choice but to adapt to silence as a life long companion. Naoko was in the third group of people; three years ago, a villain attack not only robbed her of her parents, it also did permanent damage to her ears that even people who had healing quirks couldn't fix.
She was told over and over again that there was a slight possibility she could regain some portion of her hearing, but after a year, she simply gave up hope. Now she is striving to attend the most prestigious high School, UA, just to prove to all those people had pitied her for the last several years that she is stronger than ever.
Perhaps if she convinces them, she'll be able to prove the same thing to herself.

Killing Midoriya has proven too difficult, and the league has learned that turning a UA student against heroes isn't easy from kidnapping Bakugou, so instead they gather reinforcements to capture Midoriya by using the combined efforts of two quirks: Suggestion and Overwhelm. How long can he keep the secret of his quirk and what he has to achieve from his friends? Katsuki Bakugo felt like it was his fault All Might lost his power. Now that he also figured out Midoriya's secret he wants to do whatever it takes to get him stronger so he can take that mantle, while also getting stronger himself so he can stay one step ahead. But soon his classmates notice him spending more and more time helping Midoriya, so how will he be able to explain his sudden change of demeanor without revealing the big secret. Ochako Uraraka had always admired Deku. Ever since she met him she knew he was a great person who would become and even greater hero. It wasn't until some time ago though that she realized her feelings were more then that. As she starts to see Deku work himself even harder every day she knew something was troubling him. Knowing how he is about that she wanted to help him however she could, so she's going to try and pursue her feelings so she could help him. Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying.
