Silence is such a weird concept; it's the absence of sound is all, and yet people have such different reactions to it, some would prefer silence over people, some go nearly insane when forced into silence, and some people have no choice but to adapt to silence as a life long companion. Naoko was in the third group of people; three years ago, a villain attack not only robbed her of her parents, it also did permanent damage to her ears that even people who had healing quirks couldn't fix.
She was told over and over again that there was a slight possibility she could regain some portion of her hearing, but after a year, she simply gave up hope. Now she is striving to attend the most prestigious high School, UA, just to prove to all those people had pitied her for the last several years that she is stronger than ever.
Perhaps if she convinces them, she'll be able to prove the same thing to herself.

THIS WILL HAVE SOME GRAPHIC SCENES IN IT! I don't write about topics like PTSD to romanticize them, but rather to show a story of suffering and recovery

I don't own the artwork, I'm just mooching from people who can actually draw! All credit goes to them
Usagi Matsuda, 14, looks like any normal schoolkid, but outside could be quite deceiving. She has brilliant mind, top grades and smile on her face all the time. Still she didn't have many friends, well actually she didn't have any. She is bullied in school even people who hang out with her got bullied so it didn't take long until everyone abandoned her. She has grown to be used to be alone, she has accepted her fate. She is that lone, weird girl in her school who is easy to bully.
What makes her even more bullies target is because of her quirk. Hyper healing. Even when they bruise, burn or even lash her, there won't be any evidence after couple minutes.
What no one knows is that she is also abused at home. Her father blame her for that she couldn't help her mother, sister or still unborn little brother when they were attacked by a villain.
Usagi has long ago given up her dream to become a hero or even a doctor to help people. In the end, how could she useless, stupid, worthless trash save anyone? Then she find the term vigilante and new light come to her. What will she find in that path?
I don't own any of Boku no Hero Academia characters, pictures, videos or GIFs in this story!
