Stephanie Richardson, a girl who has had to work since the day she was 12, is finally given a break. She has finally seen the day when she doesn't have to work to support her and her mom. Since she's had to grow up working for a living, Stephanie despises rich kids that have everything handed to them all their lives.
Brandon Smith, son of millionaire parents, was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He's always gotten everything he's ever wanted, at a price of course. Brandon has everything a person could ever want, except for his parents love and attention. He has grown up talking more to his parents' secretaries than to his parents. As a result, Brandon is a major player. He's gone through life looking for someone to care, even if it is just for his body and money.
On Brandon and Stephanie's first encounter, they are already clashing heads. Brandon admires the fact that Stephanie isn't afraid to stand up to him. They have both had life hard but, will they be able to save each other, and show each other that they are people who deserve the sun?
