Dusk and Dawn were always very noticeable. With names that match the times of day and hair to follow, how could they not be? However, they were always normal kids. They went through phases, awkward puberty, school and the whole shebang. But - on their 16th birthday, these twins are met with the shock of their life pertaining to their heritage. What do you do when you realize you are no where near normal, and quite literally out of this world? What do you do when you realize that suddenly the world is on your shoulders? And how do you do it while going to fucking highschool?

Original Draft, not the rewrite - lowkey sucks in comparison, don't recommend this version lol wait for the new one | What does society choose to do when children start being born with magic powers? Throw them into a prison of course! That fixes everything. Except it doesn't. In fact, it makes things worse. When young girl, Stella Rophur hears about Project Sunshine, Stella went from keeping her secrets away from just people at school to keeping it from the entire world. The Sunshine Project didn't just bring darkness and strip kids away from having a proper childhood, it actually did bring some light into peoples lives. Stella never had many friends as a kid, she wasn't a very social child, but being at the prison and meeting kids just like her made it easier. It doesn't end there, more secrets about the program and just where these mutations came from are uncovered. Bringing out more darkness and light, Moonlight and Sunshine. Read on to see just how Stella's story unfolds... ~ "Who are you?" Stella asked, staring at the girl with the uncanny grin and red horns sticking out of her head. "I'm anything and everything... The only limit is fear." Stella woke up in a cold sweat, flicking on the lamp beside her bed. She ran a hand through her light blue hair, catching her breath. "Who was that girl? Why was she in my dream?" Stella thought to herself, dreams had meaning didn't they? There had to be some sense to Stella's dream, maybe Stella would find out if she had another dream. "I wonder if she has powers too, she looks like it. I'm not really sure if I want to find out, that was freaky."

Ages 14+ (lesbian concepts and some profanity) This is not your everyday love story, okay? It's not a chick flick either. The events and themes within my pages have meaning, depth, truth-and most of all, reality. You are about to be taken on an adventure about a girl who's life is not like everybody else's. I look like a normal teen girl, I mean, I have hair and two eyes and two hands and feet like everybody else, but I couldn't feel more different. I have two moms, yes. Let's just get that out there before you start reading and close my diary like everyone in my life has shut me out of theirs. All I want is a normal life with normal friends who don't judge me because of my home situation. I don't even remember the last time I went on a sleepover or called somebody my age. I don't mean to be a downer, because it does get better. Life gets better. Struggles are only temporary, I know that now. And by my last words reach your eyes, I've come a long way, and have grown to see potential in myself. I'm sharing this with you because I want to make a difference. I know now that I'm not the only one in the world that feels alone. I've been there, done that, and there's more loneliness to come, but for now, I feel more prepared for it. I know how it feels to sit by yourself at lunch every day and how it feels to watch others go to prom with dates and feel like shit because you don't think you'd even have any friends to go with. Please ready my diary. I am much older now, and much more wiser, and I can't wait for you to realize the potential in yourself, too.

Imagine waking up one day and you don't recognise your body anymore. Your memories are still there but it's like mind and matter don't belong. Then time passes and you slowly realise that it's the other way around: those weren't your memories, they weren't your friends, those weren't your feelings. That wasn't you, you just believed it was. Who are you, really?
