Midoriya e Bakugo cresceram juntos, sempre lado a lado, apesar de Bakugo ter implicado e feito coisas péssimas para Izuku (as quais se arrepende muito), eles são bem próximos e sabem praticamente tudo um sobre o outro, mas pelo jeito, tudo tem uma exceção, não é mesmo? Izuku Midoriya é um menino que faz parte de 20% da população mundial, ele nasceu sem individualidade. Izuku mesmo sabendo dessa condição, estudou com afinco para entrar na melhor escola de heróis do Japão, a UA, e com ajuda de All Might, o alvo de muita admiração por parte do garoto, conseguiu entrar na escola tão prestigiada, usando o poder concebido pelo mais velho. Katsuki Bakugo é um jovem irritado cuja individualidade reflete bem sua personalidade excêntrica, ele tem o poder de criar explosões a partir de um fluido semelhante a nitroglicerina que sai por seus poros, como suor.
