In this AU, there is a thing called soul pulses. It is when your soul pulses when you touch other, skin to skin. 1-3 times is pretty basic, 4-6 times is when you will be good friends, 7-9 times is when there is a possibility you could date or at least be best friends and that perfect 10 is when you have found your soul mate but it is rare because there is so many people and only 1 soul mate.

If you could not tell, this is a Klance fanfiction. I got this Idea from Cross Connect Cosplay from Youtube. I will still add my own ideas so it is not going to be the same ending as their videos. I might not post chapters alot but I will try my best. I have school so yeah. Hope you like it.

Trapped in my Worst Novel
Protagonists, the most important characters in stories. They're the ones that are supposed to save the world and be a symbol of hope for humanity, the ones that can defeat anything in their way if they want to, the ones whom the reader wants to win and succeed... ...Well atleast thats how a good heroic protagonist should be. I wrote three novels after dropping out of college at 20 years old. My first novel was a disaster, boring characters, recycled plot, and a protagonist so rude even I wanted to punch them. The next two? Absolutely amazing and really well-liked. I was ready to quit writing for good when i suddenly got hit by a car and woke up in someone else's body, someone i don't recognize at all, who goes to the exact same school from my first novel. Yeah. That happened, i'm screwed. Great. Now I'm stuck in a world full of arrogant, clueless students. Why couldn't i have entered one of my better stories?! And if that's not enough, the soul of this body won't stop yelling at me to "give their body back", as if i could do that, while a tiny version of them sits on my left shoulder and a tiny version of my 19 year old self from my past life rides the right shoulder. What even is happening anymore? Sigh...

Soulmates, we're always told we have one but I haven't been so sure I do. I mean I did get my tattoo and it hasn't disappeared yet, meaning they aren't dead. I guess believing in something like that takes a lot of effort. When you first touch your soulmate (Skin to skin contact) your tattoo turns a solid color. That color is the most important color in your life at the moment you touched. In this world, there's a system to tell who your soulmate is. Nobody remembers how it happened but, one day people started getting these tattoos on their right wrist. These tattoos are a basic shape that resembles your soulmate's hair. The shape is filled in completely by the color of your soulmate's hair as well. In the center of the tattoo, there are 1-5 objects. Those objects describe what your soulmate loves to do. The shape of my tattoo always fascinated me but I've never been able to put it into words. My tattoo shape is an upside-down half-circle if instead of the bottom part being flat, it opens and curves outwards. In the center of my tattoo was a volleyball, it always was a volleyball, it's never changed once. You see naturally, people tend to change hobbies, but whoever my soulmate was, they didn't change theirs, I never changed mine either which is fascinating. Please go to my second one-shot book to request whatever you'd like! NOTE: Point of view is in the second person unless otherwise stated. And, I like to keep things different around here. You won't always be the lover. Heck, you won't even be the friend at some points. You could straight up be the bad guy in the story. But it'll be fun, I promise. Not all of them are like that. I just write in a darker or more emotional tone when I feel like it. However, if you always like being the girl/boyfriend or the heartbroken lover (which I have nothing against), then this might not be the book for you. There are TONS of other, better one-shot books than mine, and I highly suggest you check them out as well! I find myself in the habit of rearranging the one-shots based off of the part (ex. part one, part two, etc.) so there might be a bit of confusion as to where my parts appear in the book. There are a few reader inserts, for example, there's a one-shot in here that inserts the reader into Matthias' video for Google IRL, but there's only a few of them like that, so it's there if you like that stuff, and there isn't too much of it for people who find it distasteful. Side note, I try to keep this as gender ambiguous as possible. Not all of them will be completely ungendered (if it isn't, it will most likely be female unless someone specifically requested a male reader), but I try to as much as possible. Hopefully, you can forgive me for that. And finally, no smut/lemons. I hope you understand, as I'm not quite comfortable writing that sort of thing. The closest that will get to will be some cuddling and light kissing.Complete
