Shivers ran down my spine hearing his voice from afar in the distance. But I felt he had already known where I was. He just wanted me to come out myself.

"You're quite stubborn today, aren't you? Not like your little friend, Angel. She was quite fun."

I felt myself on the verge of tears and my fingernails dug into my knees before bringing them up to my chest. I let a tear slide down my cheek before wiping it away and numbing myself so I wouldn't let him see me cry if he were to decide to appear next to me.

I began to question everything that had happened. Everything he did, everything that led me here to this place. All the decisions I made, every action, every sentence, every word, every breath.

If only I hadn't been so curious and just minded my own business when I heard that beautiful song playing around a fire of dancing boys.
