Alex had her life all planned out.
Sure, she may have had a few setbacks in the past, but that's all over now. Right now, she's knee deep in her residency and is on the right track to becoming a surgeon--her dream job and life goal. Nothing's going to stop her and she most certainly won't let that ever happen.
