Jet has always felt a connection with the ocean. After years since his father disappeared and his sister kidnapped, the water seems like the only safe place for him. But when he is kidnapped himself, he has to come to terms with why strangers have taken him like his sister. For Jet is special. A breed of superhumans who control the elements. Forces of nature. Jet is a Waterboy, a being with the gift of hydrokinesis, the ability to manipulate water with his mind. There are those very interested in Jet and what he can do, and they want him for one thing and one thing only: The Games of Power. A massive arena where children with powers to manipulate the elements are pit against each other while the rich and powerful place bets and make massive amounts of money off of them. Jet must find a way to put a stop to this, before he's forced to fight for the rest of his life. He must find a way to escape the Games of Power.

Seven teenagers are kidnapped to be experimented on. They develop powers and are forced to go to school, with others like them, to prepare. Prepare for a war. They will have to fight teenagers just like them, but these teenagers have been brainwashed into their robotic-like forms. These seven will struggle with love, heartbreak, death, and life. They will save their abnormal school, that is starting to feel more like home than they ever thought it would.
