At 12 years old you believe in fairy tales, true love and forever. That's how it's supposed to be. Kids don't know or understand that nothing lasts forever. They get so caught up in the here and now and I'm not saying that's a bad thing but as you grow up you forget to live in the moment. I haven't lived in the moment since he left. He was the love of my life or so I thought. Childhood puppy love is supposed to be one of those things that doesn't exactly break your heart but instead helps you to grow and be ready for real and mature love. Unfortunately it didn't exactly happen like that for me. It ruined me.
