BOOK I: The Reasons - the ground is unforgiving. So is survival. Madison Cameron was born in space, a child of the Ark, never feeling the sun on her skin or breathing the fresh, unfiltered air of Earth. It was a suicide mission. A death sentence. But it was found that the ground wasn't consumed by radiation. Rather there was a different threat to those teenagers. we all knew the risk. Looking back at it now it was something we shouldn't have done. Now, what I was looking at was full explanation why. The dead bodies floating in the water washing up to the beach's shore the cruise ship burning in the distance sinking into the Caribbean Sea. I guess we should have just left that day to rest. A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. You can't trust adults. We don't know why they want from us, but I'm willing to do anything to protect my her. Some gifts are stronger than others, some are weaker than others, some are out of their own control. We don't know why the military wants us but, their not getting us. I'll avenge my mom and dad, they'll rest in peace. I'll protect anyone that needs protecting, I'll avenge every live that was lost.

There is a sector on the Ark called Hogwarts. That is the reason because all of the magical world lives there. One hundred children and one adult. That became the case in a mass floating war. The Council decided ,after the mass of innocence and guilty being floated, they would leave that sector alone until it began a problem. All they had to do was ship them to earth. Albus Dumbledore the one raising the surviving children made them the most likely people to survive on a radioactive so. One hundred children are forced on to a drop ship already holding one hundred.
