So rare that they're myths to human fairytales. 

Astrid Valdez used to live with her parents until they were ripped away from the young girl's life. She was sent to live with people that would teach her the true mysteries of life. Devastated from the loss of her parents from the tender age of 10 and the sudden move from the town she would always call home, Mystic Falls, she stayed in contact with those that grew up with her. After years of travelling and learning about what she would become one day, she's back and wants to live as a normal teenager until her time comes.
