A Wrong-Boy-Who-Lived story
The Halloween of 1981 happened to fall on a full moon. Dumbledore allowed James to aid Remus and that left Lily alone with her precious twins boys.
When the Dark Lord arrives, she is put under a full body bind facing the cribs of Charlus and Hadrian Potter. She witnesses everything, but, of course, Dumbledore needs to learn how to listen to people.
