July Raine Cooper is a 18 year old girl who doesn't have the luxury of going out, hanging with friends, or even being able to date.

However, July finally feels like enough is enough, and decides to sneak out. That one mistake, causes her world to seem like it's turning upside down.

She goes from staying in a house with a mother who makes her feel less than her worth and a stepfather who undresses her with his eye, to being homeless.

With a best friend like Kara, July doesn't have to weather the storm alone.

Also, we can't forget Wyatt "Thrill" West, who appears to be a straight asshole but shows her what it means to be a true stand up guy.

Even though July's Heart gets shattered with all the unfortunate curveballs live brings. The old saying, "what doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger" applies to her and she finds that out with every bump in the road that is slowing her down from reaching her true purpose.
