Addicted

When Madison is weeks away from her due date, she runs into Owen at the casino. They're both lost for words but when she tries to walk away he doesn't allow it. Much to her dismay, he is with another woman. A much younger woman. One who clearly resembles Madison. It pains her but she refuses to show him her emotions. She manages to walk away but not before he speaks.

"Is it mine?"

Her eyes quickly search for Dominic but he is no where around. "Take care of your son and don't worry about me or my child," she says, walking away.

Owen stays hot on her heels. "So it's mine?"

"She's mine," she answers, quickly making her way past a large group of people.

Fortunately, he got the answer he had been searching for, for months now. Unfortunately for her, the day she had been dreading had finally come. As much as she hoped it'd be the last time she'd have to speak to him, everyone around knew this was the beginning of something new.
