Dr Strange was doing his normal thing in the sanctuary when he was called by the Avengers for a mission. They went to a city where they found who they were looking for. After they fought against her, they found out things about her.
Stephen decided that he could take care of her and teach her to control the powers she has further then what she can. As a way to gain her trust, he has a daily talk session on how she is feeling followed by training on her powers.
