It is difficult to tell how or when the idea first entered my head; but once I could visualise it, the thought plagued me day and night...It was in those moments when her gleaming eyes fell upon me, and she beams dazzlingly, that my blood ran cold; and so I decided - abruptly, one night - I made up my mind to kill my wife.
