"Did you kill her?" He asked, getting closer to me and raising an eyebrow.
I didn't know how to respond; I was overwhelmed with scary emotions and memories. I wept until I felt his arms around me. "I didn't mean too...I had to get... out of there", I managed to squeak out in between sniffles.
The hug only lasted a few minutes, the air felt dry and cumbersome. I felt the sand shift back and forth between my naked toes, like a pendulum. J.D took a step back and raised his hands cradling the back of his head. The pressure was building the more he looked at me, shocked.

I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening.
