In the midst of a small island called Gibbous Island, lives young thirteen year old Jamie Razpian. Jamie seems like any ordinary girl, but all that's going to change. On the night of the island's annular eclipse, Jamie wanders into the forest and meets a strange boy who seems something a bit more than human. It turns out he's a Garagu, a creature from Ancient Shatino myth that's part human part beast. With the help of Professor Richard Harrison and her best friend Dakota, Jamie embarks on a life changing journey into the forest to find a cure before she becomes the nightmare that keeps kids up at night, but will she be too late?
