Cyrus was no one to be noticed. He mostly sat with his friends, Andi, Buffy and Jonah, never really talked to anybody else and all in all was not a very socially confident person.
TJ was the high schools' own "bully". Everyone was scared of him. There were many stories and rumors of him beating up guys twice the size of him. He apparently smoked and drinked. So when he suddenly lets Cyrus sit next to him on the bus, it naturally confused and scared Cyrus.
And then there was ALSO this stranger who was texting him but wouldn't tell him his name.
What the hell was going on in Cyrus life all of a sudden?!
[TJ and Cyrus obviously never got to be friends in middle school and TJ found out on other ways that he had discalculia]

after Buffy left things changed for better or for worse but after coming back to stay with andi for the summer in between grade 10 and 11, andi and Johna chose to just stay friends but they're so close buffy feels left out and she never seems to see Cyrus - until she does her best friend with the head of the basketball team TJs arm draped over him it seems the TJ hasn't changed from when they were students together so what did Cyrus see in him, the basketball team treated Cyrus like one of there own, never being left without a member to watch over him Buffy finds that the little town she grew up in could change and had, with out her. //edit June 18th, 2019// since my summer break starts soon I will be fixing and editing this whole story, that will mean updates are slower but I will be changing the plot around slightly (Warning- there might be some sexual content, why because I'm a 16-year-old who's grown up reading fanfiction writing about a children's show that being said there might be some swearing and a whole lota gay so if any of those things offend you I would suggest reading something else may be written by someone in the age democratic for this show)Terminé

Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen didn't realize how important they were to each other until they first interacted in Jefferson Middle School's cafeteria, when Buffy told TJ these words: "You have to get my friend Cyrus here, a chocolate chocolate chip muffin." That's where it started everything. Cyrus Goodman was an unathletic dude, who had a crush on Jonah Beck. He was best friends with Andi and Buffy, and thought it would stay like that forever. He was gay, and only certain people knew. TJ Kippen was an athlete who was an intimidating jerk to so many people. He was sexist, a jerk, anything "bad" you could possibly think of. Cyrus Goodman is a very sweet and innocent 16 year old boy. He likes to wear makeup and big sweaters. In his mind, everything in his world is perfect. He has the perfect boyfriend, Jonah Beck, and the perfect friends. He has the perfect life. Aside from his frequent panic attacks and not knowing what to do in life, he sees everything as perfect. TJ Kippen is a misunderstood and so called "evil" 16 year old boy. Although the good hair crew have excepted him as their friend, Cyrus' wishes, no one else really sees him as the nice person he is. In his mind, everything is completely shitty. He has a shitty mom, a shitty dad, and an all around shitty life. The one thing he sees as perfect is his best friend, Cyrus Goodman. He truly loves Cyrus, in more ways than one. What makes his heart break is that he knows Cyrus isn't being treated well. TJ can see Cyrus is being abused, but Cyrus won't listen. "H-He...Jonah would never hurt me. Jonah Beck loves me." "He's killing Cyrus inside, Buffy! You can't tell me you don't see it!" "Don't fucking touch him again you perverted asshole!"
