Nix is the most notorious assassin in all of Solaria. Though know one knows her true identity, everyone knows the Shadow Assassin, the Assassin that never misses. That is, until she receives a request she'd never thought she'd get: kill the crowned prince of Solaria, Prince Vellan. Confident it would be just the same as every other kill, she doesn't hesitate to complete the request, but it doesn't go to planned. Now, she's fighting in a competition to become the Prince's most trusted and skilled guard, and what's worse, she starts trying to win for him.
