Coming back to reality after he gets shot in the shoulder he looks downwards. The small creature he once knew laid bloodied and broken on the ground underneath him.
His once cold blade in his hand turns searing hot burning into his gloved skin. It clatters to the ground as the sirens and yells become white noise.
After a second of gathering what he has done, he takes off running into the thickly wooden trees. Disappearing into the night as the sirens fade in the background.
