The Dragon Crisis is over twenty-five years past, as is Skyrim's bloody civil war.  The Dragonborn, the legendary hero who slayed the World-Eater, is dead, leaving his daughter behind to finish his final mission.  But Amelsa Dragontooth is up to the challenge.  She alone has the secrets her father died trying to protect from the hands of the Thalmor, an organization of elven supremacists believing they are the true rulers of Tamriel.  Now she is faced with the perilous task of getting the information to her father's closest and most valuable friend, High King Ulfric Stormcloak, while avoiding Thalmor agents and bounty hunters at every turn.

Follow the events of the daughter of the Dragonborn and her fight against the Thalmor.

After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.

Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

When she grew old enough she left the keep in search of the different orc strongholds trying to reconnect with the other Orsimer. The more time she spent with them the more she became like them. However unlike most orcs she earned her living stealing it from others. This worked perfectly until she met the orc chiefton Burguk, who caught her pick pocketing him and demanded they either marry or he took one of her hands. Not being able to defeat an entire stronghold she agreed to the marriage and traveled back to Markarth to summon her father to their union. While they plot a way for her to escape the chiefton's proposal she meets a handsome thalmor stranger who may provide the help she needs. Disclaimer: Don't own the pics, just my oc. Enjoy <3
