Frontier Nova: Per Aspera

Feral monsters were thought to be eradicated centuries ago, however over the last 100 years there has been a resurgence, thus much of the military force of every nation on the planet is now tasked with fighting those monsters, gathering data on them and keep their numbers in check, until the truth behind their return is uncovered.

Various divisions of the CIVILIS Corps, one of the Three Armies of the Heraclean Union dedicated to the protection and the aid of the people, have been sent all across the member nations due to an abnormal spike in monster sighting and resulting damage to many properties.

One in particular, led by General Sheryu, finds something even odder, an unconscious man in the middle of a small woodland, wearing the blue and silver uniform of the PSYCHEN Corps, another one of the Three Armies that deals with the Intelligence and analysis of data gathered by either the CIVILIS or researchers who are escorted by CIVILIS forces.

The recon team that found the man take him back to the outpost that they have been using (and restructuring) since their division got there, oblivious to the fact that now the status quo was going to change... forever.
