Kira Ryoko is a young girl who was born in the Hidden Mist village, but is currently living alone in the Hidden Leaf Village. Ever since her parents were mysteriously murdered when she was 5, she's been too afraid to trust anyone.
She's been trained, by her father, to the level of Chuunin and decides to continue her ninja training at the academy. When the team assigning day finally comes, she ends up being put into Kakashi's squad along with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. When Kira first meets Kakashi, she begins to feel like she has someone that will understand her.
When Kakashi learns about Kira's past, he begins trying to teach her to trust. It won't be easy due to Kira's habit of avoiding people, but he'll find a way even if it means falling in love with her.
