Tobias Parker is the only name you'll ever need to remember. And remember it, I did. For all you dirty minded people, no, that's not what I meant. At least, not yet. He knew secrets about me that even myself didnt know. To know Tobias was one thing, but to fall in love with him? That's another. I didn't want to fall in love with Tobias. Trust me, I didn't. But if you'd see a tall, blonde, muscular guy standing in front of you at a frat party, glaring you down in the middle of beer pong, you'd probably find him attractive too. No? Just me? Oh, well, that night at that party, I did. Did I admit it? Nope. But I did. ******-----****** "Tell me you're jealous and I will." He snaps. "Fine! Yes, it does. Now will you shut up?" I groan. He smiles, "That's what I thought." He comes closer to me, I back up, hitting the wall. He leans down, looking like he's going to kiss me, but doesn't. He leans in, next to my ear and whispers, "She's not the one I want to bend over." He pauses. "You are." He says, huskily in my ear.

"That's strange," I said thoughtfully. His brow lifted. "What is?" "I always imagined that if fiction ever stepped out of a book, it'd smell like paper. Or ink. Or something like that." I studied him with exaggerated disappointment. "But you smell human. I feel misled." His lips curved - slow, deliberate. Dangerous. "Oh, love," he murmured. "I may not smell like ink..." His steps slowed. "But I assure you," he continued, leaning closer - not enough to touch, just enough to make my pulse stutter - "I taste like it." Heat rushed to my cheeks, the blush spreading like wildfire as I stared at him, utterly shocked. "If you doubt me," he said softly, eyes dropping to my mouth, "there's a very simple way to confirm."
