Where the Grape Vines Meet | A Stardew Valley FanFiction
Main Characters: Haley ♥, Sam, and Alex! Margot Miller has always believed life is like a recipe: plan every step, measure every risk, and strive for perfection. But when her grandfather passes unexpectedly, leaving her a jam empire and a larger-than-life legacy to uphold, she is forced to face the flaws in her carefully constructed mindset. With a missing secret ingredient, hundreds of failed jam-making attempts, and the looming pressure of the Stardew Valley Fair drawing closer, Lewis instructs Margot to collaborate with her childhood friend turned high school nemesis, Haley -- a partnership that turns out to be anything but by the book. As they work to figure out the last ingredient, they begin to uncover cryptic clues and life-changing, long-buried Miller family secrets. Together, they must face the truth that some recipes -- like life, love, and, of course, world-famous jam -- require a little mess to get just right. A story that explores unraveling resentment, suppressed sexuality, and the boundaries of love, "Where the Grape Vines Meet" captures the gut-wrenching coming-of-age experience through all its bitter -- and equally as sweet -- moments. Write's notes: I always thought there could be more context to why Haley was so mean to the new farmer other than just - mean girl. Here is a starting idea. The lays a foundation.
