When a unique group of superheroes calling themselves the Detention Squad bands together, you'll never guess what happens.
Octavia "Tavi" Faith Mitchell, traumatized from seeing her older brother drowned, learns she can control water. Asmaara "Mae" Mae Campbell, known for her optimism and brightness, can manipulate and control shadows. Liem "Lee" Howard, a child actor and superstar, can become invisible. Nicolas "Nico" Clay Castillo, a boy with acute agoraphobia, manipulates plants, animals, and urban areas. Grayson "Gray" Pierce Howard has been purposefully failing classes for as long as he can remember to get attention from his parents but soon gains super smarts.
How will these unlikely superheroes learn to control their powers despite the circumstances?
