"What's a kiss?" He asked in my right ear, sending a shiver up my spine. "What's a kiss?" He was suddenly on my left. "What's a kiss." I heard from above. "Tell me, Lucilia." I placed my hand on the back of my neck, defeatedly shook my head and sighed. "Alright." Everything immediately became deathly silent and still, but I could practically feel his eagerness all around as if it were tangible. That is until he rescues a terrified human girl who has unfortunately stumbled into his world of eternal darkness and inverted life. Desperate for companionship, and out of the goodness of his heart, he offers her his protection until she can safely return to the living world. But the longer she's with him, the harder the thought of letting her go becomes... (This is the spin-off sequel to "Unbinding the Demon." It will contain major spoilers for the first story.
