14 year old Gavin Hodges has been living for as long he can remember with a crush on his next door neighbor. Always there, but never attainable. No matter how hard he tried to reach, no matter how much she dragged him, he couldn't get to her.
The people in his small town have just learned the news. The planet Earth is being pulled away from the Sun, and the climate is getting colder. Animals are dying. And the humans will too, they will not survive forever. Now, Gavin has to make a choice.
Will he leave his feelings in the dust, willing to die without knowing, or will he risk dying with the knowledge she doesn't feel the same?

It was a simple response yet I couldn't help myself from smiling like a teenager. He has always been reserved except for a few instances but I simply love it. I didn't want to make him wait for too long so I typed a response immediately. "Have I ever lied to you?" Seeing the purple heart reaction from his side I couldn't help just smile more and calm down my racing heart. ✿♡♡✿ Two hearts torn apart due to differences but what happens when destiny brings them together in life. To the world it was a forbidden love but to them it was the beautiful comfort they could ever find in each other. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me.
