The Changed Wolf

As I sniffed the air a scent caught me off guard, it smelled like the forest and peppermint. I stood and scanned the gym to see the soon to be alpha staring at me. As I looked into his brown eyes I knew he was my mate. For what seemed like hours -which was only minutes, maybe even seconds - I felt like I couldn't move.

I blinked and snapped out of the trance when I was suddenly pinned against a wall. I looked up into his eyes and saw, happiness? Lust? Heck I wasn't sure but what I heard next made me fume with a rage so strong that I was only seconds away from shifting.

"I Kaleb Night, future alpha of the Shadow Night pack, reject you Holley Adams." My response was plain and simple, I shoved him away from me and swung my tightly clenched right fist straight into his jaw.

Holley Adams has just turned sixteen and is now finally able to find her mate. Her father is still the strongest warrior in the pack, even though her mother died when she was only eight years old.

Although when she finds out that her mate is the soon to be alpha of the pack, he rejects her thinking that she is just another weak wolf. But it doesn't affect her, she knows that she is stronger then that.

So instead she runs home and tells her father everything. They decided to leave for four years from their home in America to Rio, where they will live with her father's brother and his pack.
