Hindi lahat ng kwento may masayang wakas. Pero lahat ng kwento, may tuldok. Ang tuldok, hindi pang-tigil. Pahinga lang yun. Paghinga. Bago magsimula ulit. Itong libro, collection ng mga tuldok ko. Yung mga gabing pinili kong magbitaw. Yung mga umagang pinili kong lumaban. 12 na tula. Walang edit. Walang pilit. Kung ano yung lumabas nung 3am, yun yun. Emosyong nangingibabaw, Hinding-hindi bibitaw. Patuloy na durungaw, Sa bintana, nang kahapon nang masilayan ang iyong balintataw. Ikaw ang ilaw, Sa gabing mapanglaw. Ikaw ang araw, Sa langit na bughaw. Ikaw yaong yelo, na s'akin kailan may hindi matutunaw. Mahal kitang umaapaw. Kailan muling babagsak ang bulalakaw? Sa pagkikitang muli nais ka'ng maisayaw.
