Controlled by nine bishops, Dema is a place you don't want to fall into. Once you are there, you are a prisoner of The Niners, and they make you believe you must follow all of their rules in order to survive. They want to control everyone who finds themselves there, use torture and force their beliefs of Vialism into all of their prisoners until they crumble underneath the weigh of it all. But Carmen Libera must flee. Inspired by her new friend Brian, she starts to scheme her escape.
She will prove that Dema doesn't control her.

Tyler is alone in the city of Dema. He can't remember who he was before then. All he knows now is trying to survive in this world. He sees others around him who are struggling too, and he wants to help them. But he can't. He can't even seem to help himself. He keeps thinking he sees his best fren, Josh, but he's still not sure if its really him or if the city has finally driven him insane. His life now is nothing but fear. And there doesn't seem to be a way to fix that. Maybe there is...but maybe there isn't. The thing is, he's too afraid to find out. Fear is how they control you. The bishops. They see everything you do. And they want to destroy you. So don't bother fighting. They'll come for you. They'll come for you when you least expect it. Possible trigger warning: self-harm/suicide. This story is about overcoming that and overcoming depression. But it might be triggering to some readers. I'll add trigger warnings to those parts.
