I stared with curiosity as I saw a walker holding baby formula... No wait that's someone covered in guts. The walkers around her started to realise her. The guts smell must be fading. I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of her ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she was mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. And I want to be able to tell her, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when it's the appropriate time. Hell, the words have never been formed in my mouth, not even with my brother. So instead of talking verbally, I let myself speak physically. Her body turned to me, giving me a heated kiss.
