The day Claire found out her own hero was a fraud, was the day her inspiration was created. Hatred and anger were just temporary solutions to her problem, and she needed something more permanent. A gift that had been taught to her was her advantage on the world, and her advantage against S.H.I.E.L.D.
Keeping a low profile with only a cat as company in the single apartment, her PhD in hypnotherapy being put to the test when she performs at children's parties, and a denial of the idea that mutants exist in her personal world. Claire O'Connor was something different all right, but maybe she was the difference the Heroes needed.
Taking on the weight that The Tony Stark's story has placed on her might prove to be her biggest challenge, at least for now...

Cara Nielsen's entire working career has revolved around sorting out the problems of the Avengers and other miscellaneous S.H.I.E.L.D. members that surround them which is a pretty interesting task. From Iron Man to Thor, she's had the whole lot in her office on at least one occasion (many more with the likes of Stark and Banner), consulting her for advice or asking for help with dealing with what they do. Her agenda changes drastically however, when a new patient is brought to the building and placed permanently on her books while the others are reassigned to a new therapist just out of college. All she knows is that she'll see him every day to conduct rigourous psychoanalysis on what Hydra has done to his brain. Being a psychiatrist for S.H.I.E.L.D was a very complicated job. You constantly had to go through psych evaluations just so you could work, I guess knowing that aliens existed in could ruin your mental stability. Nadia was the woman tasked to make sure everyone in S.H.I.E.L.D was running fine. Nadia served a few years in the military as a medic until a IED hit her troop and she was honorably discharged. What bullshit. S.H.I.E.L.D took an interest in her when she accidentally learnt all of their secrets, one of their soldiers was a client at her practice. Because she was a hazard they quickly cleaned up their mess and hired her and fired her patient. She had started working for S.H.I.E.L.D around the same time Tony Stark came out to the world as iron man, this fact alone had people screaming. Nadia had the joy of hearing all of this over again from Tony Stark himself. When Fury decided to initiate the Avengers program he had everybody who could talk to Nadia. Learning about these people with such different unique backgrounds had her thinking of the programs doubts. Everybody was human expert for Thor who's brother they were going up against, it was all very confusing. In those few years of joining S.H.I.E.L.D Nadia felt as if her head might explode, she was the only psychiatrist working for S.H.I.E.L.D. That was until she got an odd call from Fury one day. She chose to work for Stark, knowing that she was the best one for the role. She knew that her life would be different, working with the worlds most notoriously egocentric man, hell superhero, but she didn't care. She knew he needed help, staying on the right path and that's exactly what she did for him. What she didn't expect, was that one day, she'd meet someone worse than Tony. He claimed he wanted to take over the world, her world, but she was determined to stop him. Taking something valuable from him, ended up with her being thrown through the window from the tower, and hitting bottom, literally. She hated him with everything she had, knowing it was all his fault. But having him here again on earth, 'reformed', is what she was told, brought it all back, her nightmares, her anger and her desire. He made her life hell, for what he did, and now it was her turn, to destroy his life, in every way she could. Even more moody than Bucky, more sarcastic than Tony, more powerful than Wanda and definitely more angry than Hulk, the god of mischief better stay out of her way, if he knows what's good for him. The Pink Ghost
Gwendolyn Danvers is from a time only two people know about. She's a normal human female with extensive training in combat, thanks to The Avenger's. What happens when she has a run-in with The Winter Soldier and he injects her with the experimental serum Hydra sent him to steal from S.H.I.E.L.D? Fighting to gain control over what the serum turned her into, she flee's in fear of further hurting her team and from the hateful words some of them said to her. After feeling she's in control, she is happy to show the team her new abilities. This lands Peter plummeting into a hole sky scrapers deep, causing Gwen to run again. Steve & a couple of friends scour the Earth to find her only to end up heartbroken when they are told she's headed to a different galaxy. She is focused on mastering herself when she's pulled back to Earth due to a friend being days away from death. This fanfic is an alternate universe. There are nods to the MCU and easter eggs throughout the story, but this story-line is of my own making. The timeline is also jumbled up, there will be things happening before they should have and things that should be happening that won't be. The characters names are property of Marvel, MCU. My main character is inspired by a few different Marvel characters, but is my own. Bucky is NOT the one to kill the Stark's in this fic.
