Rosemary had crushed the female swimming competition. She had gotten the best times at her old high school, back in Hawaii.

But with a recent diagnosis of asthma, she was limited to pool time; and eventually forced to quit the swim team.

Crumbling under the amount of medical bills, Rose's mother sends her daughter to Dean, Oregon to spend some time with her dad, (whom she hasn't seen in twelve years.)

When swim tryouts arise at her new school, Rose lies about the seriousness of her asthma to her father and pursues a position on the Co-Ed swim team.

But little does Rose know that something is coming, more serious then any asthma attack.
