this is a short monologue that i written back when i was still in school I recently found it and wanted to share it. To give you some context I believe if i remember correctly lol the assignment was just to simply write something personal. THE WISH OF HER
She rubbed her cheeks bashfully and asked, "Is there something on my face?" I leaned a little closer and whispered softly, "Yes... there was something. I was just looking at the beautiful creation of God... wondering why I can never get enough of it." ________________________________ Then he slowly leaned closer, his warm breath brushing near my ear. "Most people set their passwords as the name of their favorite person... or someone close to their heart." My pulse skipped instantly. "That means I'm close to your heart... right, Manisha?" My throat went dry. "Nothing like that," I said quickly. "I... The Journey... (A true Story)
"I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. Give my story a read and lets ride the rollarcoaster together. You never truly know what can impact you the most. It could be a book or even another person. Never close yourself off to be alone because you're shutting yourself from the beautiful world we live in together. Expect the unexpected and always reach for the stars.
