Dorian Pavus does not know what to expect when the last of Clan Lavellan is found. Some hope it will soften their ever-enraged Inquisitor. Others hope it will bolster her drive in the battle against Corypheus and his Venatori.

What he most certainly doesn't expect is a man who seems to know him, though Dorian cannot seem to remember how. Covered in scars, ink, and disarming smiles, Elian is an intriguing mystery to Dorian. As secrets, past wounds, and the impending destruction of the world about them test Dorian's morals, Dorian finds himself faced with the decision of what is more important to him: what he wants for his country and what he wants for himself.

"Humour me." "But what about you? Don't you need luck too?" Lyric asked, protest forming a small crack in her voice. "I don't know what you'll face before the end," Cullen insisted, his face drawing nearer hers until their foreheads were touching. Her hand was palm-up in his, then, the dark leather of his glove and the moonlight's ivory flush making her fingers look impossibly pale. He placed the lucky coin there, closing her fist around it. "Just humour me." ---- Slow burn romance between Cullen and my femme Lavellan, Lyric. The story is mostly made up of moments between characters, skipping some of the action we are familiar with. Spans the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition, base game only. - 18+ only - Disclaimers: - Content/trigger warnings for minor character injury, blood/gore, and sexual content. - This is a a slow burn, but it is a romance nonetheless. *Not* smut; there are also character pieces for my Inquisitor and some others that are not related to the romance, but it's all part of Lyric's story. - There are time jumps, and some slight canon divergence/original elements, but nothing that impacts the integrity of the story in a major way. - I have only played Inquisition and all associated expansions, but not the earlier games. - This is my interpretation of the story- I take some liberties with minor variations and some situations of my own. - My lore is not perfect, but I'm trying! Feel free to gently correct me if I get something wrong! - All art (including the cover) is my original art! - If you know me, no you don't.

DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION FANFICTION~ (Dorimance!) --Two chapters every week-- All that most people see when they look at Cyrus Levellan, is either a hero sent by Andraste to save them all, or a heathen out to destroy them. No one sees the man behind the hero- the heavy burdens he carries on his shoulders, that come from both his present duties, and the terrible events of his past. Apart from going against Corypheus, Cyrus embarks on a challenging, haunting journey: to solve a strange case which brings back the tragic memories he's kept buried for so long. Not only does he face the threat of an old enemy, but also finds himself falling in love, something he'd once sworn to never do again. But to succeed and take down his arch enemy once and for all, he must conquer his own demons, first.
