Emberly has been fighting her whole life. From fighting to keep out of the eyes of the public, to fighting for a cause that had eventually twisted into something far worse. Gifted in ways others aren't, she keeps her secret to herself, too afraid of loosing control and showing others just exactly who she is. What color she is. When she finally found a ticket out of the Children's League, she took it and held it close to her. She had to find Nico and Eliza, her best friends since childhood, before she went off to find something greater and better than living in hiding. But along the way she meets a group of kids, going the same direction she is, to happiness and freedom.
It was supposed to be a journey with no attachments. She had skeletons in her backpack that haunted her dreams, and she didn't want to care for the group of kids that found her, but along the line things changed when she meets Liam, Chubs and Zu.
Will Emberly find happiness and Freedom? Will she find Nico and Eliza? What about her friendship with the three runaways, will she stay with them or continue on with her journey when she finds what she's looking for?

Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists.
