Trapped by a Bracelet • Book 1

Every week the bracelet's demands changes. Every week more people leave in body bags. People that could otherwise defend themselves with their God given powers. Clouds keep up locked up. Studying us. Watching us. We have our own personal bodyguards. Our own personal, highly trained Cloud.

They call us "Anomalies". At first we were myths, lores, bedtime stories. Now? The government tracks us down at the first sign of our awakening. Sometimes we don't even know we have powers at all; until we're dragged away by black seated men.

Our parents have no say in this. No papers to fill out. They aren't allowed to search for us or to ask questions. They'll be killed otherwise. When we arrive, they give us health tests, blood work, exercises, and then a collar and a bracelet.

Afterwards, we're lined up in a hallway and Clouds in suits with tasers, batons, and guns, pick us out and take us to our cramped room.

I don't know what's going to happen to me. No Clouds stick up for Anomalies. The demands get harder every day. One step out of line and we'll be dead. How do we get out?
