Mai is a full time feature writer for a magazine and a part time romance novelist. It was a leap of faith for her to go into writing romance dahil akala niya dati hindi niya kaya. She was never in a relationship with someone so how can she make her readers fall in love with her books if she did not experience love at all?

She settled on that kind of mindset until one of her fans messaged her and stated her concern on how her works though great, yet lacked emotions. The fan claimed she can't feel anything and she's obviously writing through her imagination and not from real life experience.
