Belle is a misunderstood and intelligent young girl, and when she has an asthma attack in the middle of the school corridor it's only her luck to be saved by Jacob, the most popular, intelligent boy in school. 

Now she owes him her life but he just won't take it. 
What will happen when friends and enemies interfere and a whole host of soul crushing actions cause for life changes that will impact on not just Belle, but everyone around here, and as they begin to understand themselves and the way they feel for each other in lives that just aren't compatible, how will their relationship change.
