Blaze and Ein both knew eachother when they where little, but Blaze's family moved away because of family problems. So when they meet up again at Phoenix, tension is high. Blaze dosen't completely remember his old childhood friend, he had blocked out most of his childhood memories thanks to fear. While Ein completely remembers, and is stuck in a state of anger and grief again. But when there paired up to dance together, maybe some tension can be broke.
