Towers all over the country mysteriously pop up in all the big and popular cities in every state. They all leak a poisonous gas affecting anyone in a 45 mile radius or as far as the gas can travel.
The government's plan was for the gas to kill big populations. What the didn't plan on was their poisonous gas to turn people into flesh eating monsters.

Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out.
